Guidelines for using candles with our faux flowers

Candles can add warmth, romance, and elegance to any event, but when incorporating them with our faux florals there are important safety considerations to keep in mind. From venue regulations to table arrangements, ensuring the safe and seamless use of candles is essential.
At The Lily Pipit, we have specific policies regarding candle use to maintain both the beauty and safety of our floral designs.
By following these guidelines, you can enjoy the enchanting ambiance of candlelight while ensuring a safe and seamless experience with our faux floral arrangements.
If you have any questions or need further guidance, feel free to reach out—we're happy to help!
LED Tea Light Candles Only
We do not permit the use of real flame tea light candles with our faux florals.
No Open Flames
All tapered candles must be enclosed in glass sleeves to protect surrounding décor and prevent them from being extinguished. Pillar candles and sand wax candles must be placed inside votives or glass cylinders to minimize fire risks. Many venues also have their own candle restrictions, with open flames often not allowed. If this applies to your venue, LED candles are a stunning and safe alternative, offering the same soft, flickering glow without the hazard
Candles On The Floor
We only use LED candles on the floor.
For candles placed on/near the dancefloor we recommend coordinating with your venue staff to remove them before the dancefloor opens.
Outdoor Use
Only LED candles are permitted for outdoor settings during daylight hours.
Additional Considerations
Table Arrangements
If serving banquet-style meals with shared dishes, ensure there is ample space by using fewer candles in individual holders. When selecting candle sizes and quantities, consider the dimensions of your floral centerpieces.
